Ricardo R. Pesquera is an
experienced, highly qualified criminal defense attorney who for the
past sixteen (16) years has successfully defended numerous clients
both in State and Federal Courts across the mainland and the
Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The experience gained from working as a
senior law clerk for United States District Court Judge Carmen
Cerezo and later as a federal prosecutor in Puerto Rico and Florida,
enables him to provide an effective, aggressive and highly competent
representation. Some of his most notable, high profile cases include
defendants acquitted of first-degree murder, sexual molestation as
well as five Cuban exiles charged with conspiracy to murder Fidel
Castro at a summit in Venezuela.
Mr. Pesquera’s law firm in
Orlando, with a branch office in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico,
limits its practice to personal injury and criminal defense,
concentrating in murder charges, complex white collar crime,
government corruption and sexual offenses.
Mr. Pesquera, who was awarded an AV
Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, is also deeply involved with the
Hispanic community and belongs to numerous associations. He is a
former Director and Past President of the Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce of Metro Orlando, Past-President of the Hispanic Bar
Association in Central Florida and former Secretary of the Federal
Bar Association, Orlando Chapter.
